About our Location

Villa Santhia is set along the Southeastern coast of the Greek island of Paros, part of the Cyclades island group located in the center of the Aegean Sea. Paros is a charming island known for its diverse landscape, including golden sand beaches, idyllic coves, verdant mountains and picturesque villages. Santhia itself is enchanting in its authenticity and simple elegance, boasting pleasing geometrical forms and generously proportioned spaces, and guests report that it is both a joy to behold and a delight to spend time in. For most Greek villas, the pool and terraces that fan out around it would be the main highlights, but Santhia has much more up its sleeve, not least its garden gate access to an lovely sandy beach. The Villa offers a perfect blend of contemporary luxury and sophisticated design, indoor/outdoor living, and communal spaces and private ones alike. The Villa offers an embarrassment of riches when it comes to al fresco experiences, and is also set close to several enchanting towns and villages, hiking trails, and some of the finest golden beaches on Paros. Thanks to the relatively limited distances involved — the island measures less than 25km from north to south — it will be easy and fun to explore as a group.

FAQs

about us

We both wear various hats in our lives and have walked many paths, all of which inform our work together. Dana is a mother to 3 young adult children, a former lawyer, a producer of several TEDxWomen’s conferences, a writer & a coach. Liz is a mother to 2 young adult children, a former licensed clinical social worker and therapist, a writer & a coach.

We bring to our Retreats our beliefs in creativity & playfulness alongside rigor, a practice of framing powerful questions paired with listening & deep presence, the joy of simple pleasures, the thrill of new adventures and the permission to design lives with authenticity and in alignment with one’s values.

We love supporting women in taking up more space in their lives; in getting beyond their old ideas about themselves and their well worn narratives; and in breaking free of anything that holds them back from living an inspired life. We know firsthand that embracing change, redefining success for ourselves and claiming deeper wisdom and fulfillment takes strength, courage, curiosity and love.

At this stage of our own development, we have both endeavored to do this in every area of our lives — in our relationships with ourselves, our children, our work and with significant others. We feel privileged to see our lives as a continuous journey of ripening.
